The Cave House itself is worthy of appreciation. Its walnut door jams, solid burled walnut mantels, George Washington widows, and three-story walnut stair railings are rarities. Although only two floors are now in use as the Craft Shop, all four floors were used to house the Barter Theatre players in the 1950's and 1960's.
